Ofsted gives CFC a double ‘Good’
Community Foster Care is pleased to have achieved an overall ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted for its teams in both the North and South.
Ofsted Social Care Inspectors concluded that CFC provides “high-quality, consistent foster care [which] helps children and young people to feel confident and valued”.
They listed an impressive list of strong points:
- children and young people are very well consulted
- foster carers are well supported by experienced, well-trained staff
- the agency has a good reputation
- and Community Foster Care is well managed and its governance is highly effective.
CFC’s foster carers were praised as “highly-skilled and experienced… extremely dedicated and committed.”
Community Foster Care prides itself on the quality of care and support it provides and it’s good to see that recognised by Ofsted.
